Lapierre's new cuvée, Le Beaujolais, is approachable in its youth, however has the depth and complexity that may fool you into thinking you're drinking a cru Beaujolais. Made from grapes from three parcels of Beaujolais in the commune of Lancié (neighbouring commune to Villié Morgon), it's a mid-way cuvée between “Raisins Gaulois” and Morgon.
