Nicely balanced, with lightly sweet red cherries and some peach-skin and floral notes. Playful, mouth-filling froth and clean, compact fruit on the finish.

This most recent cuvée of Pink is a step up from the usual great value one can expect from Parés Balta. An absolute delight with generous aromas of rosebud, pink grapefruit skin, red cherry and lavender. The palate is toasty and lightly creamy due to fine bubbles producing a smooth mousse. Well-balanced, voluminous and widely appealing. Great value. Tasted December 2020.

The NV Brut Rosé de Blancs is incredibly distinctive. Cranberry, crushed rocks, chalk, slate and white pepper are all finely sketched. The Rosé de Blancs is mostly Chardonnay, with just a touch of still red Pinot, and it is the Chardonnay that really drives the wine's personality. Readers will find an especially nervy, taut Rosé with impeccable balance and tons of sheer appeal. Disgorged: November, 2019.

Rich and mouthwatering, with fragrant grilled nut and lime blossom on the nose layered with notes of pureed raspberry, kumquat, ground cardamom and graphite. There's opulence here, but it's well-checked and balanced by a firm spine of acidity and a salty streak of mineral that shows on the finish.

A bright rosé Champagne, offering a driving note of pink grapefruit granita layered with toast, pickled ginger and spun honey flavors. Lively, even zesty, in texture, with lip-smacking acidity and a creamy, minerally finish. Disgorged March 2019.
