About this winery

Founded in 1825, Domaine Faiveley is one of Burgundy's greatest domaines. Originally the company was a classic negotiant business, based in Nuits St. Georges and engaged in the buying and selling of wine but not the production of it. Product notes

Domaine Faiveley vinifies it Bourgogne Chardonnay from grapes grown in the domain's vineyards as well as selected grapes and musts from its partner winemakers.

Production notes

The wine is matured for 8 to 10 months in the Domaine's cellars in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Part of the cuvee, which varies depending on the vintage, is aged in oak barrels. These barrels come from high-quality barrel-makers and have been rigorously selected for their fine grain and light toast.

Tasting notes

A bold and expressive nose of white flowers and tree fruits. This wine is balanced on the palate, with hints of oak and citrus. It has good volume and quite exceptional long-lasting finish for a Bourgogne Blanc. This is a good value wine that can be enjoyed now.
