Notes about product

The 2013 growing season delivered ideal conditions with minimal rainfall and no temperature extremes. These weather conditions allowed our grapes ripen steadily and develop great concentration, excellent texture and balance, and rich, luscious, fruit flavors.

Winemaking notes

The varied nuances in this wine are the result of blending varietals. Zinfandel offers sweet, juicy fruit flavors and spice notes, Syrah gives the wine a velvety texture, Cabernet Sauvignon lends red fruit and structure, and Petite Sirah provides density.

The 2013 Rosso offers dark, succulent flavors of cherries, wild berries and fragrant spices. With a plush mouth-feel, medium weight, and a touch of oak and tannin, this highly versatile red wine pairs beautifully with anything from grilled meats to rich sauces and hearty pasta dishes.

Tasting notes

The 2013 Rosso exhibits aromas of wild raspberries, plums, allspice, and tobacco. It is garnet red in appearance with tasting notes of boysenberries, black cherries, smoky oak, and vanilla,
