Production notes

100% of our 2020 Chardonnay was harvested from our estate grown River Junction vineyard located at the confluence of the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers

Tasting notes

The McManis Family Vineyards Chardonnay is light golden straw in color. Bright fruit aromas of Pear, Melon and Peach are accompanied by a bouquet of Vanilla, Hazelnut, and a hint of buttered popcorn. As with previous vintages, the wine is rich, creamy and full of sweet Pear, Banana and toasty oak flavors. Rich and decadent, our Chardonnay can be enjoyed on its own or with a delicious meal.

September 2022 (Vintage 2020)

McManis River Junction 2020 Chardonnay is produced from sustainably-grown grapes in California's River Junction, designated an AVA in 2001, that is home to a single producer. This Chard is dry, medium-bodied and creamy with ripe red apple, peach, lemon pudding and buttery caramel flavours with a long and vibrant finish. Complex and beautifully balanced, and excellent value.
