Product notes

Over 90% of the fruit for the 2018 Pinot Noir came from Lodi. The remainder came from McManis’ own River Junction AVA.

Production notes

After fermenting on the skins for 6-9 days the must was pressed. The resulting wine finished fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and then was aged in new & used French and American oak barrels for approximately 6 months. The wine is predominantly Pinot Noir, with a small amount of Petite Sirah added for color and texture.

Tasting notes

A bright ruby hue with aromas of strawberry preserves and strawberries and cream. On the palate this wine is a combination of bright fruit flavors with hints of vanilla from the oak ageing.

GOLD MEDAL

June 2019

A real crowd-pleaser, plump, juicy and well-crafted for its style, fruit-forward with just enough acid and a fun and friendly finish
