Production notes

Harvested in the cool of the morning, fruit was gently pressed and kept as small vineyard batches up until blending. Predominantly fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit purity, there were also several blocks that fermented in barrels and provide a layer of texture and complexity.

Tasting notes

Lifted floral notes, grapefruit and white peach on the nose. The palate offers distinctive flavours of passionfruit and sweet lime intermingled with layers of minerality. The mid palate is rich and textured with a mouth-watering acidity.

October 2022 (Vintage 2022)

Very attractive bouquet of ripe, fleshy tree and tropical fruits, fresh herbs, gooseberry and wet pebbles. Intense, crisp, fruity and varietal with fresh basil and apple flesh, nettles and cape gooseberry flavours. Plenty of acidity and a satin touch offer contrast to the core flavours. Balanced, well made and ready to drink from 2022 through 2025.

#73 TOP 100 WINES OF 2020

December 2020

Ruby grapefruit, passionfruit and green apple flavors are vibrant and expressive on a juicy frame. Shows off terrific transparency to the fruit flavors, and a long finish where a touch of Dragonwell green tea peeks through.

(Vintage 2021)

Grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to give intense passionfruit and gooseberry fruit characters. The wine is fruit-driven in style, with complexity from lees ageing for several months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. This wine is a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc with intense flavours and crisp acid in a dry style.

This has aromas of kiwi fruit, lime zest, passion fruit and sweet herbs. It’s tangy with a medium body and a zesty, very clean and refreshing finish. Sustainable. Vegan. Drink now. Screw cap.
