In 1987, Gonzalo Antón, together with a group of friends and business people from nearby Vitoria, began a ground-breaking project in deepest Rioja Alavesa. Cherries, currants, plums, plush chocolate and fine spices. Medium-bodied with ripe, juicy berry fruit and a tightly wound, creamy finish. Very good length with touches of hazelnuts, chocolate and orange peel at the end.

The spicy and smoky 2020 Reserva was produced with a blend of Tempranillo with 9% Graciano and feels quite oaky after 16 months in 50/50 French and American oak barrels. It has ripeness, 14.55% alcohol, and a creamy touch, with abundant tannins and plenty of oak-related flavors.
