The wine was aged on a combination of new and used French and American oak.
Caramel and Toffee are evident in the bouquet, as well as a Chocolate oak profile. The wine is substantial, yet has a rich soft cream texture of mocha. Very elegant and full of ripe black fruit flavors of Blackberry and Blueberry. These fruit flavors are savored in the lingering mouthwatering finish.
Opulent dark berries, baking spices and orange marmalade show on the nose. Full-bodied, saturated boysenberry, olallieberry, dried potpourri and malted chocolate glide across the palate, finishing with silky tannins. Aerate and enjoy with barbecue.

This Petite Sirah includes a small percentage of Tannat and Teroldego in the mix, resulting in a deep-purple hue and full tannic structure that is well met by the voluptuousness of the fruits. Find notes of blackberry bush, bramble, fennel, capsicum, black cherry, smoke, toast and leather.
