Miamba is a single vineyard in southern Barossa near Lyndoch. This pours deep ruby-purple. The nose is heady and rich with cassis, evergreen/menthol sap, wood smoke, mocha cream and roasted coffee bean. It's full bodied, rich yet firm, with great acidity and minerality. This wine has pedigree, structure and depth - nice work at the price. Excellent length; best 2014 to 2020. Tasted June 2012.
