Morgon les Charmes 2014
A wonderfully complex nose exhibits plenty of the hallmark pepper and earth nuances on the ripe mix of red and dark berry fruit suffused aromas. There is good richness, volume and mid-palate detail to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that terminate in an attractively textured if mildly austere finale. This is not particularly dense but I very much like the sense of harmony that should allow it to age well for a few years if desired.
