The Clos de Grand-Père was matured 80% in barrel, the balance in tank, and it's a great success in 2016. It opens with vibrant notes of pear, peach and crème pâtissière. The wine is full-bodied and chewy with extract on the palate, with a deep core, succulent balancing acidity, and good grip on the serious, flavourful finish.
