Saint-Véran La Bonnode 2016
La Bonnode has an easterly exposure on the Roche de Vergisson, and the Brets have just acquired a two hectare parcel of 32 year old vines here. The inaugural vintage is promising, offering up aromas of citrus zest, chalky soil tones and a top note of petrol. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, cool and layered, with good energy and extract.
