Sokol Blosser is family owned and operated now by the second-generation Alex and Alison Sokol Blosser. The estate pinot is tasty mix of fresh ripe raspberries, black cherries with a dusting of white pepper, cedar and black tea. The tannins are in line with silky texture but suggest this will age three-to-five years in the bottle. Wild salmon is the match but Ahi tuna, duck and or pork will all work according to the family.
