This is one of the great carmeneres of Chile - a very seductive red, but I urge you to age this a couple of years because I think it will deliver even more. Very deep purple-ruby colour. The nose is terrific - with perfectly ripened blackberry/blackcurrant, layered chocolate and spice, with carmenere's greener notes sprinkled into the mix. It's full bodied, dense, hottish with molten licorice and great wood. Bi but well proportioned. Excellent to outstanding length. Best 2018 to 2025.
