Crafted in the typical reductive house style of Dog Point with its grapefruit pith and flinty aromatics off the top, 2013 is another substantial, concentrated, well-balanced and intensely flavoured wine that will reveal its best in time. I'd tuck this away for another 2-3 years for maximum enjoyment - his certainly has the stuffing to age, and more importantly improve, over time, a rare quality in NZ sauvignon. - John Szabo
