Mâcon-Vinzelles Le Clos de Grand-Père 2014
A whiff of reduction shaves off the top notes but it seems clear that the underlying fruit, mostly apple-based, is ripe. Otherwise there is fine freshness and verve to the beautifully well-detailed middle weight flavors that possess ample minerality and salinity on the chiseled, focused and lingering finish. This is good stuff for its level and worth considering.
