Malbec 2012
This is the largest release from Mendel, running to some 75,000 bottles, with most of the fruit from Luján. It's quite an oaky Malbec, but the structure and finesse that are the hallmarks of the winery's style, especially in a cool year, are very much in evidence, providing backbone and complexity.
