After a couple of disappointing releases, Hamilton Russell’s Pinot is back on form in 2014 and looks set to continue the improvements in 2015 under new winemaker, Emul Ross, if the barrel samples I tasted reflect what is bottled. This is quite a firm style, but with good structure and some welcome fruit sweetness.
