Elegant, supple, juicy.
Aged one year in French oak barrel and then three years in bottle, Tinhorn's top tier Pinot knocks it out of the park. Notes of cherry and black raspberry, vanilla, baking spices and beet greens are nicely grounded with a potpourri of cedar chips and dried violets. The palate is supple and suggests a mix of wild forest berries, cigar box and fine spice. It is juicy with promising structure and a persistent tealeaf flavoured finish. Overall great balance - an elegant wine.
Pair: Grilled wild salmon, roast beef, slow cooked beef brisket or a caramelized onion and wild mushroom pizza.
