Notes about product

Vineyards are 15-22 years of age sitting at altitudes between 280-310 metres above sea level. Alluvial soils with the presence of sand and limestone marl.

Winemaking notes

Each grape varietal is fermented separately, then macerated for about 20 days, with malolactic fermentation occurring in concrete tanks. The wine is aged 18 months in French oak barriques (60% new and 40% second fill).

Tasting notes

Aromas of black berry fruit, spices, well integrated oak, chocolate and coffee. Soft and round palate with great acidity. Firm but soft tannins. Powerful and explosive, it maintains a surprising freshness.

(94-95) Points

September 2018

A focused and tight red with a currant, blackberry and mineral character. Medium to full body with tight and pretty tannins. Shows class in this vintage.
