The 2021 is deep and resonant on the palate, but it also offers notable saline-infused vibrancy. It's a dynamic Barolo in the glass that reveals myriad shades of nuance over time.

Pouring a brick red color, the 2021 Barolo San Rocco is focused and spicy, with notes of cinnamon, cranberries, dried redcurrants, roses, and baked earth. This medium-bodied Barolo offers a good deal of energy and finesse, with fine tannins, refreshing acidity, and savory notes of ripe orange citrus through the finish. It has a lot of pleasure now, but it’s only going to benefit from another couple of years.
