Winemaking notes

Aged for eighteen months in new and older French Oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Aromas of bright red fruits complemented by floral notes and a subtle, underlying varietal earthy character. Lifted rich fruit and well integrated spicy oak flavours showing excellent balance with sweet tannins and a lingering soft finish. Pair with duck, cervena, red meats and especially truffled venison and mushroom pie.

Lisa Perrotti-Brown, December 2014

Medium ruby colored and opening with a lovely nose of dried cherries, potpourri and game with a touch of baking spices, the 2008 Pinot Noir offers plenty of savory and earthy characters in the mouth, which is a more elegant, restrained style than is typical. It has a long and mineral-laced finish.
