The grapes are de-stemmed and very softly crushed and processed, followed by a long-term maceration of the skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C . Once malolactic fermentation has taken place, the wine is aged inside Slavonian oak barrels for approximately six months, after which bottling takes place.
Ruby red in color, displaying violet highlights in its youth. Delicious red fruit aromas on the nose with a deep, full and harmonious palate and lingering hint of licorice on the finish. Pairs well with braised meat, game, and semi-matured cheeses.
