Jean-Marc Brocard's origins lie in the Côte d'Or, a farmer's son from the village of Chaudenay-le-Château, not even the son of the vigneron. The Vaulorent is one of the vineyards’ best known Premiers crus. It sits next to the Grand Cru Les Preuses which it resembles in some of its qualities. It is a refined wine which carries wonderful energy.
The attack is fresh and light; giving an impression of purity. The palate is light; characterized by notes of subtle richness.
Bristling lemon and tart nectarine flavors are center stage in this fresh-fruited, youthful Chablis sourced from a premier cru site just outside the grand cru Les Preuses. Accented by hints of crushed almonds and a lingering tang of limestone, it's a rejuvenating white.
