Cinsault blend from 5 vineyards located in Guarilihue Alto. Vines are between 45-88 years old, dry-farmed with the gobelet system. Sandy to sandy silty granite. Around 22,000 bottles per year are made.
Fermented in oak tanks, concrete and open steel tanks. 100% whole cluster was applied. The wine was then aged in Concrete and Large Oak casks for 1 year. Terroir is mix of 5 granite Vineyards in the area of Guarilihue Alto.
Reductive notes of racy bramble berries, pomegranates, rose hips and white pepper funk. Nice fruit on the palate, but kept nicely bone-dry, with tense, firm tannins and a fresh finish. Very slightly metallic. 100% whole clusters fermented in open steel tanks, 60% to 80% aged in foudres.
