Production notes

The Vidal-Fleury's Crozes-Hermitage comes from this southern part of the appellation giving a fresh and fruity balance. Tannic structure, less powerful than in the other northern crus, makes wines particularly accessible.

Tasting notes

Appearance : not deep red with some black highlights Nose: blackcurrant, violet, pepper and smoky, vegetable touch. Based on fresh Syrah flavors. Palate: smooth and fresh, black fruit, mineral. Fatness and persistence with the fruit.

May 2023 (Vintage 2021)

This rather rich and plush Crozes has excellent integration of restrained toasty oak with ripe blueberry and blackberry fruit on the well-structured palate. Just beginning to show what it’s made of! Long, rather compact finish.
