Mars 2023 (Millésime 2020)Grgich separated out the best parcels for the 2020 Chardonnay Paris Tasting Commemorative (he made the Chateau Montelena Chardonnay that performed so well at the 1976 Paris tasting). Made without malolactic fermentation, it boasts attractive notes of grilled pear and pineapple, plus hints of toasted hazelnuts or cashews. Medium to full-bodied, it's plump and generous, with a silky texture and ample length, a worthy tribute to his long career.
