Antonio Galloni, Novembre 2015 (Millésime 2009)

The 2009 Brut Fleuron is round, voluptuous and racy. Explosive and spherical on the palate, the 2009 exudes richness, with plenty of the radiance of the year on display. Tropical inflections abound in a deep, boisterous Champagne that feels very ripe by Gimonnet standards. Still, there is so much to like, especially the way the wine maintains so much freshness given its intensity. Vineyard sources are 42.5% Cramant, 30% Chouilly, 18.5% Cuis and 9% Oger. Dosage is 4.5 grams/liter.

Novembre 2023 (Millésime 2017)

Entirely from Premier and Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, the 2017 Champagne Blanc De Blancs Cuvée Fleuron Brut is a bright yellow hue and is compact and powerful, yet crystalline, with notes of crystalized ginger, fresh pear, honey, and lemon candies. Long on the palate, it’s elegant with ripe concentration, a core of fresh acidity, and a pristine finish. A superb wine from this vintage, it’s great now and will drink well over the next 6-8 years.

Mars 2016 (Millésime 2006)

Tight, fresh and concentrated with subtle toast and intense lemony fruit. Really vibrant with ripe apple and lime notes. This is a superb Champagne: lively and complex with lovely focus.

Antonio Galloni, Novembre 2020 (Millésime 2014)

The 2014 Brut Blanc de Blancs Fleuron is rich and effusive in the glass. Freshly cut flowers, mint, citrus confit and white pepper soar with notable intensity as the Fleuron shows off its alluring, inviting personality. The Fleuron is one of the most elegant and refined wines I have ever tasted from Gimonnet. Cut like a diamond, the Fleuron dazzles from start to finish. Disgorged: October 9, 2019.

Septembre 2015

Floral and smoke notes provide an aromatic overtone, with the lacy mousse carrying flavors of Honeycrisp apple, salted almond, lemon curd and glazed apricot.

2016 (Millésime 2009)

This lithe, elegant Champagne is chalky in texture and finely balanced, with subtle layers of yellow plum, spring blossom, pastry cream and macaron. Fresh, focused finish. Disgorged January 2015. Drink now through 2026.

Josh Raynolds, Décembre 2014

Light gold. High-pitched, mineral-tinged citrus zest and green apple aromas are complemented by suggestions of anise and white flowers. Lithe and focused on the palate, offering nervy orchard fruit and Meyer lemon flavors that gain depth and open up with air. Spicy, racy and focused on the finish, leaving notes of pear and honeysuckle in its wake. Disgorged in January, 2014.
