About this winery

Situated in the heart of the Mosel's finest vineyards, the Max Ferdinand Richter estate has been in the family for over 300 years. Tasting notes

On the nose, apple, citrus and slate stone. Clean pure structure; mineral texture with rich mouth-filling flavors of orchard fruits and juicy layers. Shows a well zesty and spicy refreshing style. Well-balanced structure, animating. The elegant fruit structure finishes with great length.

Mosel Fine Wines
July 2024 (Vintage 2024)

The 2024er Mülheimer Sonnenlay Riesling Zeppelin is an off-dry wine (with 24 g/l of residual sugar) made from own fruit and fruit purchased from local growers in Mülheim. It offers an engaging nose of peach, pear, a hint of brown sugar, and smoke. The wine proves beautifully playful on the palate and leaves a juicy feel in the long finish. The balance is impeccable. This remains, year-in year-out, a really nice wine.
