Product notes

Vineyards located in the area of Chepica, Colchagua Valley, where the warm climate, long summer days and generous insulation during the morning contribute to the ripening of the grapes.

Production notes

The grapes were crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 7 days, followed by a 3-day post-fermentation maceration. Part of the wine was aged in oak barrels for 4–6 months to obtain greater complexity in the final blend.

Tasting notes

Intense aromas of black fruits. blackberries, blueberries and black plums. A touch of tobacco and black pepper is accompanied by the characteristic spiciness of the Carmenere. A smooth and velvety wine with ripe tannins. Well balanced with pleasing, moderate acidity. Pair with pastas, vegetable casseroles, cheeses, and Chilean food.

Jesica Vargas, September 2022 (Vintage 2020)

Aromas of candied cherry and strawberry (alongside a light note of cigar box and peppercorn) show in the glass. The palate features plenty of fruit, with a touch of oak flavors framed by smooth tannins. The finish is a little warm but high acidity keeps it on check.
