Chardonnay Paris tasting Commemorative 2020

- 94 points -

Grgich separated out the best parcels for the 2020 Chardonnay Paris Tasting Commemorative (he made the Chateau Montelena Chardonnay that performed so well at the 1976 Paris tasting). Made without malolactic fermentation, it boasts attractive notes of grilled pear and pineapple, plus hints of toasted hazelnuts or cashews. Medium to full-bodied, it's plump and generous, with a silky texture and ample length, a worthy tribute to his long career.

About Wine Advocate

The Wine Advocate was a bi-monthly publication and Robert Parker Wine Advocate continues this tradition, although articles and reviews are now published every week. The main goal is to publish regionally focused reports, which mainly offer wine reviews of new wine releases, but they also produce important vintage retrospectives and occasionally single-label verticals and producer profiles. Since 2019, Robert Parker Wine Advocate has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the Michelin Group.
