Juin 2017 (Millésime 2012)

In a traditional style, featuring beefy tannins and savory earth notes, with a core of leather and cherry flavors. Shows some sweetness midpalate and picks up energy on the long finish. Hangs together, ending in an uplifting, resonant manner.

Juin 2023 (Millésime 2018)

Very Sangiovese, this red combines both fruit and savory elements -- cherry, strawberry, hibiscus, wet hay, iron and tobacco -- with a firm structure. Expressive, balanced, vibrant and long, with stiff tannins on the finish.

Décembre 2023 (Millésime 2018)

The nose is metallic and stony, with a puff of petrol, like a road trip in winter, but also brighter notes of bergamot, black currant and black cherry. The palate embraces the bitter fruitiness of bergamot before savory notes return for a bitter finish. A balanced, polished and integrated wine.

Octobre 2020 (Millésime 2015)

Campogiovanni is an estate run by San Felice in Chianti Classico, and its 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Campogiovanni is a lovely, dark and savory wine to serve with a platter of fatty charcuterie and aged tomme cheese. The bouquet is elegant and linear, showing a pretty ensemble of dark fruit, cassis and dried cherry. This vintage is particularly well balanced, with soft spice and crisp acidity competing for your attention and keeping things bright and interesting.

Juin 2021 (Millésime 2016)

This red is intense, featuring incisive aromas of macerated cherry and plum, leather, earth and juniper flavors. A tad rustic, burly tannins line the finish, yet stay fresh and anchored on the fruit component. Shows excellent length.

Avril 2017 (Millésime 2012)

Forest floor, truffle, new leather, ripe berry and a balsamic note are some of the aromas you'll find in this delicious red. The fresh, chewy palate doles out fleshy black cherry, chopped mint and white pepper notes, while big, round tannins provide structure. It's already enjoyable but will offer years of fine drinking.

Aromas of blackberries, flint and matchstick. Medium body with firm, silky tannins and a lightly chewy finish. Structured and polished. Juicy at the end.

Juin 2024 (Millésime 2019)

There's an exotic boysenberry note to the fruit in this red, along with flavors of raspberry and kirsch, shaded by eucalyptus and wild rosemary, plus a chalky mineral element. Yet this remains slightly austere, with dense, linear tannins leaving a grip on the finish.
