La Tenuta Sette Ponti est située au cœur de la région de Chianti, près d’Arezzo. Le nom de Sette Ponti, ou « sept ponts », fait référence aux sept ponts qui enjambent le fleuve Arno. Les plus vieilles vignes ont été plantées en 1935 par Duke Amadeo d’Aosto, le vice-roi d’Éthiopie, en souvenir d’une victoire. Le domaine est passé entre les mains de différents membres de la famille royale italienne, et ce, jusqu’à la fin des années 1950, lorsque l’architecte Alberto...
The purity of fruit is impressive in this wine with currants, orange peel, peaches and lemon in the nose and on the palate. Full-bodied yet compressed and agile. Flavorful finish. Reserved now, but if you give it a year or two it will really deliver. Drink after 2026.

Fresh strawberries and cherries with some orange peel and flowers. Cedar, black olive and violet undertones. Medium-bodied with firm and racy tannins that give energy and focus. Tangy and fresh with slightly bitter citrus on the palate at the end. 90% sangiovese and 10% merlot. Drink or hold.

A beam of pure blackberry runs through this otherwise dense and focused red. Shows elegance, with balance and complexity, but needs time to integrate and reveal all its facets. Offers fine, minerally length. Sangiovese and Merlot.

A soft and caressing red with a full body and plush, finely woven tannins. Plenty of dark cherry, mulberry, chocolate and some bark. Citrus zest and dried flowers, too. Lightly chewy at the end. 95% sangiovese and 5% merlot. Try in 2025.

Black cherries, blackberries, earth, dark chocolate and a hint of orange peel and anise on the nose open onto a lush and indulgent palate, but with pepper and an almost bracing fresh mintinness at the back that creates balance and tension. Tannins are round but dense and chewy—very satisfying.
