April 2025 (Vintage 2023)

This is floral yet subtle, with enveloping aromas of rose petals and red fruit. The palate is chalky, with incisive yet blurry tannins, delicate red fruit and a fresh lift that adds dimension. This comes from a 1.44-hectare plot planted in 1994 in Gualtallary.

May 2025 (Vintage 2023)

The 2023 La Savante Pinot Noir is another blazingly bright and compelling expression of Uco Valley, originating from 1994 plantings at Adrianna Vineyard. It was fermented with roughly 40% whole clusters in 600-liter roll fermenters and matured in 225-liter barrique, 10% of which were new. It offers the most distinctly spice-driven and savory bouquet while retaining the alpine, citrus and herbal notes that are a through line in this roster. The palate is lifted, high-toned, racy and slender, seamlessly transitioning to an angular finish that balances austerity with juicy succulence and ever-present minerality. This is a fantastic and crystalline showing of Argentine Pinot Noir.
