Juicy and appealingly sweet, offering lively black raspberry, cherry-vanilla and boysenberry flavors and a spicy nuance that builds as the wine opens up. Finishes sappy, smoky and long, with smooth, slow-building tannins that fold quickly into the wine's plush, oak-spiced fruit. Aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels.
