2025 (Millésime 2023)Ugarteche, which borders the Uco Valley, and at almost 1,000 meters above sea level, is not widely known. It is the source of very juicy malbecs, such as this example, which comes from 45-year-old vineyards on soils rich in clay. It has notes of violets and sweet red fruits; the palate is pleasing and juicy, with fine, sharp tannins that bring thoughts of oven-baked beef empanadas.
