A beautiful ruby colour. Pleasant and fresh red-fruit aromas on the nose, which are present on the palate. It has rich and very ripe substance, with fine round tannins. It's a very well-structured and pleasing wine.
This is quite a serious wine for the humble appellation. Plenty of red cherry fruit. A surprising amount of structure on the medium-bodied palate. Bright, almost crisp finish. Matured for six months in oak casks previously used for the 1er and grand cru wines.
