About this winery

Bijou first began in Cabrières, a tiny and idyllic region in the Languedoc-Roussillon just 30km north from the Mediterranean. This charming little village is dominated by the Pic de Vissou, an extinct volcano that provides our vineyards with very unique soil types. They have since expanded production into Provence and elsewhere. The winery's focus has always been to make truly authentic wines that are delicious, elegant and reflect the local terroir on which the grapes are grown. Thanks to...

Product notes

The grapes were hand-selected from the best sustainably farmed vineyards in Coteaux de Béziers, where the local offshore winds balance the warm Mediterranean climate and allow the fruit to develop complexity whilst preserving their acidity. Destemming, gentle direct pressing with minimal skin contact followed by cool fermentations in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes

Fresh and aromatic with intense notes of ripe grapefruit and citrus fruits. On the palate it is crisp and vivid with good length and a hint of salinity on the finish.

July 2025 (Vintage 2024)

Softer peach, plumeria and jasmine aromas meet with a hint of cantaloupe on the nose of his bottling. There's a fast-acting grip to the palate that fades quickly into brisk apple and pear flavors, with a backdrop of steely minerality.
