Neal Martin, March 2026 (Vintage 2024)The 2024 Morgon Cuvée Marcel Lapierre, which comes from two plots planted around 1903/1904 that Lapierre remarked had a different "gastronomic soil", has a glorious bouquet with ebullient red cherries, white-tipped strawberry and rose petal scents, all beautifully defined. The palate is medium-bodied, with crisp, slightly chalky tannins and gentle but insistent grip. This is very focused, with no vegetal aspects and a mineral-rich finish. Excellent.
