Notes about product

The estate comprises 7.5 hectares, of which 5.5 are in vineyard. It is southwest facing slope planted in deep soils with abundant pebble and clay content, and little sand - ideal conditions in a warm climate.

Winemaking notes

Controlled temperature fermentation for 15-18 days, aged for 12 months in French barriques and 12 months bottle aging prior to release.

Tasting notes

Purplish red with hints of violet, then a rich bouquet of intense berry fruit and spice, with hints of tobacco. Soft and velvety on the palate with spice, tobacco and fully-ripe, sweet fruit.

A dark and standoffish red today, this nonetheless features depth and intensity to the blackberry, black cherry, iron, cigar box and wild herb flavors. Offering a touch of oak spice, this is supported by a dense matrix of tannins, finding equilibrium in the end. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
