Product notes
Located in the north of the appellation, on the gently slopes of the «Plateau des Brusquières», one hectare of vines surrounded by forest. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Cinsault thrive in the shade of a century-old oaktree, deeply rooted in alluvial soils of river gravel and clay, once deposited by the exuberant, prehistoric Rhône river.
Production notes
Manual picking with very selective sorting, destemming, and a short maceration with soft pigeages and pump overs. Aged for 18 months in newer foudres and terracotta jars.
Tasting notes
Located on the gentle slopes of the Plateau des Brusquières, one hectare of vines surrounded by forest. Grenache, Mourvèdre and Cinsault thrive here in the shade of a century-old oaktree, deeply rooted in alluvial soils of river gravel and clay, once deposited by Rhône river. An old well indicating a high groundwater level, soothes the vigneron in times of drought. The wine finds its balance between spicy aromas, power and structure.
