This biodynamic Châteauneuf-du-Pape is fermented and aged in foudres and old barriques. It's nutty, with some oak-inspired crème brûlée notes on the nose and a hint of banana custard. Medium-bodied, it's not overdone on the palate, showing good, clear fruit expression and a fine, shining beam of acidity keeping everything fresh on the long finish. Admirable corsetry at work. 42% Clairette, 32% Roussanne, 11% Bourboulenc, 10% Grenache Blanc, 1% Clairette Rose, 1% Grenache Gris, 1% Picardan, 1% Picpoul Blanc, 1% Picpoul Gris.
