This gewurz is built on a monumental scale with gigantic concentration and structure, easily filling out the huge body. The abundant fine tannins soak up almost all of the unfermented grape sweetness and drive the very long and texturally complex, spicy finish. Already pretty mind-blowing, but great aging potential! Both fruity and spicy, this Gewurztraminer from Hengst Grand Cru offers generosity, freshness, and a stunning complexity. Very pleasant. We can believe that this wine will benefit from several years of cellaring. Perfectly balanced, the palate is tense and precise, with a calcareous texture that brings a linear finish. Slightly tannic, the wine is racy and superb! Keep it 10 years or more, and it will be even more impressive.
