Based on 31% Syrah, 29% Grenache, 22% Graciano, and the rest Mourvèdre, the 2022 Heartstone is a ripe, round, velvety textured 2022 that has darker fruits as well as some savory flower, herbes de Provence, and peppery nuances. I love its overall balance, it has tons of character, ripe tannins, and a gorgeous finish. It’s relatively approachable even today yet will evolve for 15 years with ease
